    Punch FEature
    1. Most tools can be easily loaded by a single operator.
    2. Easy to store.
    3. All sectionalised tools come pre-cut in nine different pieces.
    4. Most sectionalised punches include two ear pieces (horns).
    5. Punches are induction hardened, to 45-50 HRC but 55-60HRC is available for every punch in the tooling line.
    6. Special Tooling available.

    Die Feature
    Single V tooling and double V tooling has only one or two tooling grooves, which is very common in CNC press brake and has high precision. Multi-V lower toolings are mostly square toolings with multiple tooling grooves on four surfaces of different sizes. The advantage is that there are many tooling grooves and it can adapt to the bending of various thick plates.

    A handling/restocking fee will be applied to all products returned for credit. A return authorization number and shipping instructions must be obtained in advance before an item can be returned.

    All claims or product shortages must be made within 30 days of the invoice date.

  • Calculating Blank Length
    Accurate blank length calculation is more critical and complex with radius bending than with sharp bending. The larger radius significantly affects the bend allowance and the material's neutral axis (K-factor). Operators must use accurate bend deduction formulas specifically calibrated for the larger radius to ensure the flat blank yields the correct final part dimensions, avoiding costly length errors in downstream assembly.

    Preventing Torsional Deflection
    For wide parts or specialized applications, radius dies are designed with sufficient cross-sectional strength to resist torsional deflection if the bending load is not perfectly centered. Tooling stiffness is paramount for maintaining a consistent radius profile across the entire length of the bend. High-quality dies utilize robust material volumes and strategic geometry to withstand high, offset loads without compromising angular accuracy.
