    Punch FEature
    1. Most tools can be easily loaded by a single operator.
    2. Easy to store.
    3. All sectionalised tools come pre-cut in nine different pieces.
    4. Most sectionalised punches include two ear pieces (horns).
    5. Punches are induction hardened, to 45-50 HRC but 55-60HRC is available for every punch in the tooling line.
    6. Special Tooling available.

PUNCH SECTION LENGTHS: 100mm LEFT EAR / 100mm RIGHT EAR / 10mm / 15mm / 20mm / 40mm / 50mm / 200mm / 300mm Note: Special lengths are available at additional cost, just select the standard length and ask us to cut to your requirements.

    Die Feature
Single V tooling and double V tooling has only one or two tooling grooves, which is very common in CNC press brake and has high precision. Multi-V lower toolings are mostly square toolings with multiple tooling grooves on four surfaces of different sizes. The advantage is that there are many tooling grooves and it can adapt to the bending of various thick plates.

  • Description
  • Repeatability in Mass Production
The primary advantage of using a dedicated radius tool over air bending is the unparalleled repeatability it offers in mass production. Once the die is set, it mechanically dictates the exact internal radius regardless of minor fluctuations in material thickness or yield strength. This consistency is vital for manufacturers running high volumes, as it drastically reduces the rejection rate at final inspection and ensures all components align perfectly during automated assembly.

    Eliminating Surface Galling
High-quality radius tools feature highly polished or specially treated forming surfaces. This smooth finish, combined with the wider contact area, minimizes sharp friction points compared to standard V-dies. This is particularly advantageous for preventing galling (material transfer) when working with sticky metals like aluminum or copper. The result is a cleaner, smoother surface finish on the inner bend, reducing the need for post-processing and surface touch-ups.
