    Punch FEature
    1. Most tools can be easily loaded by a single operator.
    2. Easy to store.
    3. All sectionalised tools come pre-cut in nine different pieces.
    4. Most sectionalised punches include two ear pieces (horns).
    5. Punches are induction hardened, to 45-50 HRC but 55-60HRC is available for every punch in the tooling line.
    6. Special Tooling available.

PUNCH SECTION LENGTHS: 100mm LEFT EAR / 100mm RIGHT EAR / 10mm / 15mm / 20mm / 40mm / 50mm / 200mm / 300mm Note: Special lengths are available at additional cost, just select the standard length and ask us to cut to your requirements.

    Die Feature
Single V tooling and double V tooling has only one or two tooling grooves, which is very common in CNC press brake and has high precision. Multi-V lower toolings are mostly square toolings with multiple tooling grooves on four surfaces of different sizes. The advantage is that there are many tooling grooves and it can adapt to the bending of various thick plates.

  • Description
  • Minimizing Tonnage
Fabricators should note that the required bending tonnage decreases significantly as the internal radius increases. If a design allows flexibility, selecting the largest possible radius tool within spec can substantially lower the stress on the press brake and its components. This optimization extends the machine life and allows the machine to handle greater lengths or thicknesses, improving the overall shop capacity.

    Repeatability in Mass Production
The primary advantage of using a dedicated radius tool over air bending is the unparalleled repeatability it offers in mass production. Once the die is set, it mechanically dictates the exact internal radius regardless of minor fluctuations in material thickness or yield strength. This consistency is vital for manufacturers running high volumes, as it drastically reduces the rejection rate at final inspection and ensures all components align perfectly during automated assembly.
