    The primary advantage of using a non-marring polyurethane film is achieving 100% scratch-free bends. The film material is specifically engineered to provide a smooth, low-friction interface between the workpiece and the die shoulder. This dramatically reduces the localized extrusion stress and sliding friction that cause cosmetic defects. Fabricators can maintain high production speeds while ensuring that delicate or aesthetically critical parts, such as those for appliances or architectural panels, meet the highest quality standards immediately after forming.

    Minimizing Angular Distortion
    By reducing the aggressive friction between the workpiece and the V-die, the anti-marring film promotes a smoother, more controlled material flow during the bend. This controlled movement minimizes localized material bunching or tension that can lead to subtle angular distortion or variations in the bend radius. The result is more consistent and predictable bend angles across a production batch, requiring less frequent angle compensation adjustments on the CNC press brake controller.
