    Punch FEature
    1. Most tools can be easily loaded by a single operator.
    2. Easy to store.
    3. All sectionalised tools come pre-cut in nine different pieces.
    4. Most sectionalised punches include two ear pieces (horns).
    5. Punches are induction hardened, to 45-50 HRC but 55-60HRC is available for every punch in the tooling line.
    6. Special Tooling available.

  • Machine Deflection Automatically
    A high-quality Standard Punch works in harmony with the machine's crowing system (deflection compensation). Because our tools are CNC-ground to a height tolerance of ±0.01mm, they provide a perfectly level reference point. This allows the hydraulic or mechanical crowning to accurately compensate for the "bowing" of the bed during a stroke, resulting in a constant angle from the left to the right end of a 3-meter or 4-meter workpiece.

    Reducing Friction and Preventing
    To combat the common problem of zinc "pick-up" from galvanized steel, our Standard Punches can be treated with a specialized nitriding finish for Box and Pan Fabrication. This process significantly increases surface hardness and creates a low-friction barrier. This "anti-galling" property ensures a non-marring bend on sensitive materials and extends the time between tool cleaning cycles, making it a highly practical solution for high-speed HVAC and roofing component production.
